Cool stuff

Found this really cool site, Stumble Upon with a toolbar extra that you can install on your browser, which allows you to surf, or rather stumble, onto all sorts of sites available on the WWW. And after you browse the site, you can actually rate or write a review on whether you like the site or not. Pretty cool, especially coz you also get to send the cool sites to your friends. Here’s a really cool site I found through Stumble Upon:

When you run your cursor across the image on your browser, you’ll actually see the same place at different times of the day. And if you move your cursor fast enough, it looks like a scene from TV where time is fast-forwarded (cursor movement from left to right) or rewound (cursor movement from right to left). Cool huh?

Another cool add-on I got through del.cio.us was one for LJ. However you must be using Firefox as your browser to use this add-on. Basically, after you add it, it will allow you to get messages directly from LJ on friends’ blogs being updated, new comments to your site or your saved comment threads and even birthday reminders. Pretty neat! You can get this add-on from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4536. Here’s how it would look like on your browser:

With so much cool stuff to surf, no wonder I was actually stuck to my comp screen the entire afternoon, despite having insufficient sleep the previous night!
