Was very happy when Elianto came to SG. So when I was doing my make-up shopping the last few days, I picked up these from them:
Pressed powder with the powder case:
Decided to get pressed powder so that I needn't bring both my MAC liquid foundation and Red Earth translucent loose powder for my biz trip. Love how easily it got on my face with my kabuki brush, really simple to apply. Only thing I have to gently pat on my concealer so that it will not cake up the powder, unlike the all liquid easy peasy with a liquid foundation.
Baked blusher in pink:
Decided to get a pink tinged blusher after having a peach blusher from MAC (my absolute fav coz its so natural) and a coral blusher from TheFaceShop (which I hardly use). Am really loving the subtle pink tinge with slight shimmer.
A little upset that my fav mascara has been discontinued, but at least I still have Maybelline's cat eye mascara and TheFaceshop's Glamax mascara to rely on.
Now am wondering how to pack for my biz trip... Can't believe I'm flying off tomorrow!

Had dinner at one of our favourite haunts, Casuarina, near the in-law's place en route to their place. Ordered our favourites, savouring flavours we hadn't tasted in a while:
My onion prata
Hubba's onion and egg prata all covered with tandoori chicken curry
Tandoori chicken
My all time fav: Ginger-chino
Now at in-law's place to visit our favourite cat, Biscuit, whose days may be numbered. We suspect that he has been suffering for quite a while losing lots of weight drastically and these few days he has suddenly stopped eating. Now we are wondering whether to euthanise him or let him die naturally... :(

After watching this clip by TiffanyD:
I did this look today with the eyes:

A little variation to use brown instead, though it's not very obvious.
Think I like watching vids by TiffanyD coz they are pretty easy to apply some degree of variation. So after watching a few vids, I kinda went on an eye make-up spree earlier at Sasa Tampines One and purchased the following:

From top: duo pencil sharpener, Maybelline Cat-Eye Mascara, Ocean Blue Eye Pencil and a Pupa Christmas Eye Make-up Set in Silver which contains for a 4-colour eye shadow plate and a silver eye-liner pencil.
May go try the original variation in grey instead... or do a smokey-eye variation. Very inspired to do this as well:
and this:
Now I'm wondering whether I should invest in another blush, coz I keep relying on my Mac blush, that I don't really have another colour to add variation. Hmm...

My latest purchase: Coach Optic Signature Pleated E/W Gallery Tote in Bordeaux

Will be away when the bag gets shipped, but have made arrangements to have it shipped to Mummy. So now I just have to keep my fingers crossed and wait... till I get back from my biz trip to lay my hands on my new bag.
BTW, does anyone have lobang on where to send bags for cleaning? Please drop me a note if you have any lobangs... Thanks!
Went out this morning with Hubba and friends C and D, to attempt kite flying. The weather was good and there seemed to be ample wind. So after we had Macs breckkie, we headed out to a large plot of state land along Tampines Grande.
Nice weather
Turned out the wind did not last long. Also D's kite was a little too heavy for the wind we had, so the kite couldn't stay up for too long.
D flying the parachute-like kite he got from Australia.
Drop in the wind, causing the kite to dip.
Hubba also tried his hand on flying the kite, but the timing was bad for him coz the wind changed direction:
Trying to get the kite along with direction of the wind.
After a while, we kind of gave up on the wind altogether. Perhaps we should head towards the more windy areas next time like Marina Barage or West Coast if we should ever attempt to fly kites again.
