Must be delicious!
Met up with secondary school classmate Huimin and her hubby there. Unfortunately we got caught up in our conversation that we forgot to take a photo together! Gah!

A comedy with loads of bullsh*t from two heterosexual guys, whose egos are bigger than they admit.
( Some spoilers... )
Made plans to have lunch instead of shopping, so the entire family went, except Hubba who had over-indulged the night before and wanted to fast.

Me and my Pops
Pops' tenderloin steak
Omelette and prawn spaghetti
Squid ink pasta
The desserts: we ordered pistachio cherry, strawberry shortcake, Oreo cheesecake and the guanaja to share
My iced Cafe Vienna
The food was super delicious, though the omelette pasta wasn't as tasty once one had sunk his teeth into the squid ink pasta. As for the tenderloin, it actually met Pops' high standards, so it was definitely a winner.
The cakes were definitely the main attraction, and we distributed them equally so that every one was ably to try all the four cakes.
After a very satisfying meal, Mummy and my two aunts went a little cake crazy and started to make plans for the next cake outing next weekend despite just having such a sinful meal. Next week's destination: Baker's Inn.
Boy must I start working out to burn off today's calories!

Went down to Tampines One earlier for lunch. We decided to have something simple and headed to Kim Gary's straight away. Here's what we had:
Ice milk tea for Hubba
My hot milk tea
My Nissin noodles with ham, chicken wing, egg, sausage and fried wanton
Hubba's pork chop baked rice with cheese
After a heavenly lunch, I went shopping while Hubba went to cut his hair. What originally was meant to be window shopping turned out to be an indulgent purchase when I laid eyes on a Burberry Blue Label sling/wristlet in pink. Ended up making the purchase as it was one of the few wristlets I have seen with a wide base that can fit my fat wallet and a versatile handle that can either be a sling or a wristlet strap.
My pink Burberry Blue Label sling/wristlet.
Think this weekend is gonna be an expensive one for me. Better curb my spending when I go down to town tomorow with my mum for some mother-daughter bonding.

There were so many different types of chocolates in there! Alcoholic chocolates like champagne, cognac, Irish cream and lychee martini, tea chocs like earl grey, jasmine, and Darjeeling, coffee chocs like cappuccino, latte, mocha and espresso; the variety seemed endless! Their prices ranged from $8 - 12. And the packaging was equally attractive; small and very colourful, almost like fabric designs. After browsing for more than 20 minutes, we ended up buying the lychee martini, champagne, earl grey, and two Autumn/Winter 09 specials: Horlicks and white truffle.
Once we reached home, Hubba couldn't wait to try them out. He picked one lychee martini to taste, and my oh my, it was scrump-licious! The milk chocolate was tasty, but the omph came from the lychee martini centre that was so heavenly that one couldn't just be satisfied with one bite. Hubba and I would have finished all the chocolates at one go, had we not controlled ourselves. In the end, we finished half the bar of lychee martini, and felt super guilty after that.
